BEWARE OF FRAUDULENT CELL PHONE TEXT MESSAGES:
Please be aware that fraudulent text messages are being sent out claiming to be from Tampa Bay FCU. Using SMS text messaging, the fraudsters seek to obtain card numbers, personal identification numbers, online banking passwords, and/or Social Security Numbers.
The text messages may warn of unusual account activity and instruct receivers to call a phone number to solve the alleged problem. When the number is dialed, an individual or automated system asks for the confidential information, which is then provided to fraud networks.
If you have responded to this message and provided your confidential information please contact us immediately to protect your account.
