TAMPA, FL – January 15, 2008 - For the past eight years, Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union has actively participated in the American Cancer Society’s signature event, the Relay For Life. In 2007 alone, the Tampa Bay Federal team raised over $16,000 for the fight against cancer. This year Tampa Bay Federal will join the Riverview Relay for Life with the mission to exeed last year’s efforts. The Relay will take place on March 8th and 9th at the Riverview High School.

Virtually everyone knows someone who will be touched in some way by this disease. That’s why it’s so important that this effort is carried on year after year. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one-day cancer will be eliminated.
