Tampa Bay Federal makes $10,000 gift to the
Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Project
TAMPA, FL – On Monday, March 26th, Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union made a donation in the amount of $10,000 to the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation. The gift will assist the Memorial Foundation in reaching their $100 million goal and in building a memorial in Washington, DC to honor the life, work and legacy of Dr. King.
The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial will be built on the National Mall between the Lincoln Memorial and the Jefferson Memorial, along the Potomac River Tidal Basin. The Memorial will remind the world of his dedication to the idea of achieving human dignity through global relationships, and instill a sense of duty to be responsible citizens and conscientious stewards of freedom and democracy.

By promoting economic freedom and justice through products and services that meet the changing financial needs of our membership, we embrace the Legacy of Dr. King.” (Dale Schumacher, President/CEO Tampa Bay FCU).
To date the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Project has raised $78 million.
