Youth Empowerment Classes for Young Adults ages 16-22

TAMPA, FL -April 2 , 2007

Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union has developed a special program to teach young adults ages 16 – 22 about financial literacy. The Youth Empowerment workshops educate young adults about the fundamentals of managing their own finances. Individuals who complete the class receive a certificate to redeem for a $5 deposit into their account. Subjects covered in the class include:

• Balancing the Checkbook
• Online Banking
• Credit Cards
• Buying the First Car
• Protecting Accounts from Fraud
