On February 19th, 2006 Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union formally recognized their first Community Service Associate of the Year. The purpose of the Community Service Associate of the year award is to recognize, promote, and celebrate the contributions and achievements of Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union employees. This year’s award was presented to Ms. Evelin Galindo, a credit union employee for over five years. Ms. Galindo is the leading force behind Tampa Bay Federal’s signature event, the Ybor Festival & Expo. Last year alone the festival helped raise over $12,200 for Metropolitan Ministries while providing a fun filled day for the residents of the Ybor community. All associates of Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union are asked to “Live the Tampa Bay Federal Experience” in all aspects of their lives.
