For the past seven years, Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union has actively participated in the American Cancer Society’s signature event, the Relay For Life. In 2006 alone, the TampaBay Federal team raised over $8,000 for the fight against cancer. This year TampaBay Federal will join the Relay For Life of New Tampa with the mission to raise $10,000. The Relay will take place on April 27th and 28th at Freedom High School.

Virtually everyone knows someone who will be touched in some way by this disease. That’s why it’s so important that this effort is carried on year after year. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one-day cancer will be eliminated.
